Town End Farm Lake District Holiday Cottage is on a traditional Westmorland farm situated in the Winster Valley in the Lake District National Park between Kendal and Lake Windermere in Cumbria.  The Winster valley is in quiet unspoilt countryside very close to Lake Windermere and runs parallel with the better known Lyth valley.

Town End is a traditional Westmorland farm with stone outbuildings, meadows, pasture land and dry stone walls. It is a working farm with the main focus on breeding alpacas for their luxurious fleece.

Adjoining the farmhouse is a character holiday cottage which has been refurbished to a high standard and awarded self catering 4 star holiday cottage status by Quality in Tourism, VisitBritain.  Recently Town End Cottage also achieved a Gold Award for exceptional quality of accommodation.

This is a perfect place to stay for up to four adults and two children during any season with scenic walks, great pubs and restaurants nearby, and much more to do all within the vicinity. And, for couples at off-peak times, we have a special reduced tariff.
