The 3 bedroom holiday cottage is part of a traditional 17th Century Westmorland stone farmhouse that has been sympathetically refurbished to a very high standard. It provides modern facilities with large and comfortable beds, and also retains the character and charm of many traditional features.  Outside there are several peaceful private sitting areas to enjoy the panoramic views of the green Winster Valley towards the far reaching Lake District mountains.  It is very picturesque with stone outbuildings, meadows, pasture land and dry stone walls of a small traditional Westmorland farm which now breeds alpacas. If you wish, you can meet the alpacas and learn all about them and their fabulous fibre, during your stay.
